Brownie Batter Hummus

Instructions

1 can chickpeas, drained*

1/4 cup Pyure granulated sugar substitute

1/2 cup dairy free milk (like unsweetened cashew or almond milk)

1/4 cup cacao powder

1 tsp vanilla

dash of salt

1/4 cup Cacao nibs or Enjoy Life chocolate chips

Directions

Place all ingredients except for chocolate chips in 32 oz Vitamix container. Blend until smooth.

Add in nibs or chocolate chips if desired. You can also sprinkle some to the top for decoration.

This is good with fruit, veggies or crackers (or even by the spoonful!)

* The liquid off a can of beans is called Aquafaba. It works well as an egg replacer! Three tablespoons aquafaba equals 1 whole egg and 2 Tbsp equals 1 egg white. I like to freeze the liquid into silicone ice cube trays for future use. I measure it out so that each cube is 1 Tbsp. This way it is premeasured for when I want to use it and easy to thaw out.
